A. Full Moon of Humanity, Christos
The Full Moon of Humanity, the Festival of Goodwill, the Christos light.
Over a period of several years I would celebrate the full moons with a meditation night at the Abraxas book shop in Byron Bay; to all of those who once attended, thank you, may this be a ray of the Moon’s light.
This, 31st May, 2026, is the Full moon in the sun sign of Gemini. The previous full moon, was in Taurus ‘Wesak’, the festival of Buddha, wisdom. This full moon is called by different titles, but all mean the same thing, your humanity, the festival of the ‘Christ’, the divinity within you.
When all our self-interests are stripped away there sits our humanity, our love, our compassion etc. This I suggest is the salt of Alchemy, the chemistry of AL. AL/EL is the beginning and ending of all angelic names – Elohim, the 7 creator Divinities of Genesis, the 7 days of creation. Upon the 10 spheres of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life EL is the Divine name of Chesed, the 4th sphere, the benevolence and grace of God, it is Jupiter the expansive planet, “go forth and multiply”, prosperity upon the square of life. One could say all life should prosper when Nature is harmonious, that when the 4 elements, the 4 seasons are in harmony, this is so. Again 4, Chesed is the 4th sphere – by the virtue of 4 the Sphinx, the 4 Cherubim, sit in eternal silence before the house of God; there must be harmony for the divine to grace us.
The Lord’s prayer has 10 stanzas and yes, they correspond to the 10 spheres upon the Tree. 4 Chesed’s stanza is, “thy kingdom come”; Christ speaks about the kingdom full of grace, let me call it the “square of Life”: self-expression, prosperity, health, love. These dynamics are expanded upon in the ‘Login/Members’ section of our website. It starts with self-expression, not ego’s expression but SELF expression; self is the Sun, whose symbol is a circle with a dot, the awareness which is the center of your consciousness, not I am this or that, but I am this awareness, a Son/Sun of God. Yes, that’s right, a consciousness that is born from the divine virgin, silence, where the ego cannot enter.
The symbol of the salt of Alchemy is a horizontal line within a circle, 7 divisions long and the circumference 22 divisions long. The Bible starts with 7 days of creation, day and night, above and below, and ends with 22 chapters of revelations – a coincidence?
The Tarot card of the Lovers, Gemini, shows the first choice in the garden of Eden that led to the fall. The Lover’s card is the Hebrew letter Zayin, “the completed fertilizing act”, and if you contemplate this, choice is exactly that. Zayin’s symbol is a sword, the sword that masters Angels and Demons – the choices you make. Salt’s symbol shows a line dividing the circle into two, Christ amidst the 2 thieves.
Could choice be such a divine principle?
Man, fell from paradise and returns via his or her choices. It is wise to observe whether you can choose how you deal with any situation, if you cannot choose your behavior, what does that tell you, how free are you? Christ said, “I have come with the sword”, choose wisely.
The sages meditate upon this Moon for the liberation of HU MAN ITY. The divine Hu in man, all men and women ity.
