There is Rest Only in Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times;\">R.I.P.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times;\">There is Rest Only in Peace<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><em>\u201cBe in the world but not of it\u201d, said Christ,<br \/>\nyet we hear the constant affirmation, the ever-present echo<br \/>\nof the worldly believers, \u201cbut in the real world!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">What is this real world?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">How is it created, and by who?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Who and what makes it real?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Have you ever stood back from your life in the world, had a good look at it, is it meaningful, fulfilling?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">What does it actually make full, and it fills with what exactly?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Are you really what this world makes of you, or have you been programmed without question?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5IsSpAOD6K8&amp;list=RD5IsSpAOD6K8&amp;start_radio=1\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5IsSpAOD6K8&amp;list=RD5IsSpAOD6K8&amp;start_radio=1<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">I am not suggesting you abandon your life, your work, family, although in India the pursuit of spirituality is accepted as a life\u2019s path for some. In the west many have a Talking Heads moment, \u201cis this my beautiful house\u201d, a moment often considered a mental health issue; off to the system you go for counseling and if it fails, you can have a drug to dull the perception and make you \u2018normal\u2019, whatever that is? \u201cSame as it ever was, same as it ever was\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Often at death\u2019s reality door, the worldly successful ask a question. \u201cWhat was it all about?, I accumulated mass wealth, I owned properties, cars, sent my children to be educated so they could follow my path and acquire its wealth, for what?&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Right now, love is the most valuable thing, and yet it cannot be possessed, one can only feel love\u2019s comforting presence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">At deaths\u2019 door wealth and position may give you a comfy death bed, but you leave it all behind with your last breath. On the scales of life\u2019s values all that wealth and social position is outweighed by a single out-breath of air.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">The air we breath is Nature\u2019s gift \u2013 the trees of life bring it. Strangely enough those trees of life were cut down to acquire wealth for a few.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">At that final breath can you see the forest or are the trees in its way?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">At night, just before you surrender to the death of the waking day, are you at peace, have you done good deeds, loved, been kind in the life of this one day?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">We all dream, the afterlife of the day, a mirrors reflection.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">What does it reflect back at you?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Do you think death reflects like dreams?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Can you avoid life\u2019s mirror, can you ignore your conscience?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">The consequences of our deeds never go away; we must confront them some day or night.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Have you ever had regrets?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Have you learnt from them and digested life\u2019s rich meal?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">The ancients suggested these ideas as meaningful keys to life.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">The Egyptians had the God Maat, who weighs the soul with a feather of the bird\u2019s flight. If the soul\u2019s burden was heavier than the feather, the soul must return to Earth and deal with its weight of unasked and unanswered questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">When reincarnation was removed as a concept, the balance between dream and daily life was lost, the wisdom of the scales of Maat was lost.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Do you see an imbalance in the world of Nature and men?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">I am not answering your questions, I am suggesting you ask them for yourself while you have breath to do so.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Peace is in the midst of the duality of breath, life and death, you are between each breath. Christ was crucified between 2 thieves, see this archetype in every breath.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">The last thing Christ said was, \u201cforgive them Lord for they know not what they do\u201d. If you do not give forgiveness, you never receive it, the in and out breath.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">To truly give is to receive, and to truly receive is to give of yourself, \u201cthank you, Oh Lord, whatever form you take, you are the formless that cannot be held, yet we are all held by your grace called life\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Love one another.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Every moment of every day, in every breath you take, is the balance of Nature.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">You cannot hold onto a breath for long, to survive you must exhale. Life in this world is dual, you are the one that breathes, the one between the 2 thieves.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Can you avoid this great truth with some intellectual babble?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Know thyself!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">This is the light of the divinity of Nature, she is most wise. She is not a commodity, she is yours, and my mother, the virgin who bore us all, love her, honor her and be wise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">If you live by this truth, death is the out-breath of life \u2013 the eternal. &#8220;Be in the world but not of it&#8221;.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">We cannot avoid death as hard as we all endeavor to avoid its ever-present shadow, like a dream, let it be the mirror to your actions, thoughts and deeds, you will live a truer life, one of virtue with the truth of the love that transcends death itself, the path to the immortal.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">If we are one in spirit, we are one in love, this is the heart of the matter, the space between each beat of the heart.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times; font-size: 14pt;\">Paul Tisdell.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>R.I.P.
